Dharmendra Pradhan Calls Cockroach Janta Party ‘B Team of Disruptive Elements’, Targets Rahul Gandhi Over NEET Row

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has launched a sharp attack on the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), calling it the “B team of disruptive elements” while accusing the group of attempting to undermine the country's education system.
Speaking in an interview, Pradhan alleged that people rejected by the democratic process were now operating under a different identity and trying to create instability. He claimed that such groups support divisive narratives and have little faith in India's development.
The Cockroach Janta Party, led by Abhijeet Dibke, has been demanding the minister's resignation over the alleged NEET paper leak controversy that triggered nationwide protests and legal scrutiny.
Pradhan also condemned the alleged involvement of teachers in the examination leak, saying that individuals entrusted with protecting students had instead betrayed that responsibility. Referring to them, he remarked that the “protectors had turned predators.”
The Union minister further targeted Rahul Gandhi, accusing the Congress leader of politicising the issue and creating anxiety among students preparing for the medical entrance examination.
According to Pradhan, the Opposition has every right to question the government, but alleged that Rahul Gandhi's programme in Kota just days before the re-examination spread fear among candidates and disrupted their preparations.
He also accused the Congress of indulging in what he described as “low-level politics” over the NEET issue instead of supporting students during a challenging period.
The remarks come shortly after more than 22 lakh medical aspirants appeared for the NEET re-examination, which was conducted after the earlier test was cancelled following allegations of a paper leak. The controversy continues to remain a major political flashpoint, with opposition parties demanding greater accountability while the government insists that action is being taken against those responsible.
