Dharmendra Pradhan resigns as Education Minister, cites responsibility in NEET controversy
Dharmendra Pradhan stepped down as Union Education Minister on Saturday. In his resignation letter, he emphasized that he accepted responsibility throughout the NEET-UG controversy and never distanced himself from the situation.
Pradhan stated his resignation was intended to protect students' futures from exploitation and prevent anti-national forces from capitalizing on the matter. The government had earlier ordered a CBI investigation and announced a re-examination for NEET-UG following irregularities in the entrance test.
