Disney Appoints Character.AI's Karandeep Anand as First Tech Chief

The Walt Disney Company has named Karandeep Anand as its first Chief Technology Officer. Anand, who previously held a senior role at Character.AI, will oversee the company's enterprise technology infrastructure, artificial intelligence platforms and engineering operations.

In this newly created position, Anand will be responsible for modernizing Disney's technology foundation and driving innovation across the media and entertainment conglomerate's digital operations.
