TVK fields ex-AIADMK MLAs for Tamil Nadu bypolls in Madurantakam, Dharapuram

The Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) has fielded two former AIADMK members in Tamil Nadu bypolls. Maragatham Kumaravel will contest from Madurantakam, while P. Sathyabama will fight the Dharapuram seat.

Both candidates had won their respective constituencies in the 2026 Assembly elections as AIADMK nominees. However, they resigned from their MLA positions within days and subsequently joined the ruling TVK.
