Former DUTA chief Aditya Narayan Mishra joins Congress, cites education crisis

Aditya Narayan Mishra, former chief of the Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA), joined the Congress party on Monday. The move was formalised in the presence of Delhi Congress in-charge Qazi Nizamuddin, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav, and AICC Uttar Pradesh in-charge Rajendra Pal Gautam, among other party leaders.

Mishra's joining comes as he flags what he describes as a deepening crisis in the education sector. His move to Congress signals the party's efforts to strengthen its presence in Delhi ahead of upcoming political engagements.
