DVAC launches probe into alleged sand mining scam during DMK rule

The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) in Tamil Nadu has initiated a detailed inquiry into alleged irregularities in river sand mining operations across the state. The probe was ordered based on a complaint filed by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED), which flagged serious violations in the mining practices.
