Election Commission orders special voter registration drive in 20 states

The Election Commission has ordered a special voter registration drive across 20 states to ensure citizens who were excluded from the Supplementary Identification Register (SIR) process are enrolled on the voter rolls.

The drive aims to capture voters who may have been overlooked during the regular registration period. Officials will conduct targeted outreach in the identified states to facilitate enrolment of eligible citizens.
