ED arrests Kolkata man in land grabbing PMLA case
The Enforcement Directorate has arrested Amit Ganguly, a Kolkata resident, in connection with a money laundering case linked to land grabbing. Ganguly is accused of acquiring control over properties belonging to various persons and entities using forged board resolutions and fabricated agreements.
The arrest was made under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Investigations suggest an organised scheme to unlawfully obtain properties through fraudulent documentation.
