CBI conducts raids across 20 states, arrests three in digital arrest scam probe

The Central Bureau of Investigation conducted simultaneous searches across 89 locations in 20 states as part of a crackdown on cybercrime syndicates orchestrating digital arrest scams. The operation targeted networks involved in defrauding citizens through fake law enforcement impersonation.
Three individuals were arrested during the raids for allegedly receiving and laundering proceeds from the fraudulent schemes. Digital arrest scams involve criminals posing as government officials to extort money from victims by threatening arrest or legal action.
