ED raids payment firms and chartered accountants in online betting probe

The Enforcement Directorate carried out coordinated raids at multiple locations as part of its investigation into online betting operations. The action targeted payment companies and chartered accountants suspected of facilitating illicit transactions.

Raids were conducted at five locations in Maharashtra, four in the Delhi-NCR region, two in Rajasthan, and one in Gujarat. The simultaneous operations across states indicate a large-scale probe into the financial networks supporting illegal online betting activities.
