ED Seeks Early Resolution of Jagan Illegal Assets Case, Files Petition in Telangana HC

The Enforcement Directorate has filed a petition in the Telangana High Court seeking early resolution of the illegal assets case against Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and other accused. The ED also requested the court to direct Jagan and the co-accused to appear in person during proceedings.
According to the ED, nine chargesheets in the matter have been pending in the CBI court for the past decade. The agency cited delayed discharge petitions in the CBI court as the primary reason for the case's slow progress.
The petition aims to accelerate the legal proceedings that have stalled over the years, with the ED seeking court intervention to move the case forward and ensure the accused's personal attendance during hearings.
