ED targeting Satish Jarkiholi because he is tallest ST leader: Congress

Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala has alleged that the Enforcement Directorate is targeting Satish Jarkiholi because he is the "tallest" Scheduled Tribe leader in the party. Surjewala noted that most leaders facing ED scrutiny are SC/ST or OBC leaders, or sons of farmers.

Surjewala claimed the BJP believes it can intimidate Congress leaders and force them to capitulate, but said the party would not be cowed down by such tactics. The remarks come amid ongoing ED investigations involving several Congress party figures.
