Election Commission issues show-cause notices to over 3 million electors including Delhi CM

The Election Commission has clarified that over 3.31 million electors were issued show-cause notices as part of a routine verification process. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was among those who received the notice.

The clarification comes amid a row over AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal's receipt of the notice. The poll body stated that the notices were issued across a broader set of voters and were not targeted at any specific individual or party.
