Election Commission postpones CEC's UP outreach events

The Election Commission of India has postponed two outreach events by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in Uttar Pradesh. The programmes were scheduled for Meerut on Friday and Varanasi on September 28, and were aimed at engaging young voters and Gen-Z audiences.

The Commission stated that the postponement has no connection to any ongoing controversy. No alternative dates for the rescheduled events have been announced yet.
