England captain Root dismisses disrespect claims against Pakistan

England captain Joe Root has rejected suggestions that Pakistan showed a lack of fighting spirit in their defeats in the first two Tests of the three-match series. England leads 2-0 after commanding victories at Headingley and Lord's ahead of the third Test at Edgbaston starting Wednesday.

Root's comments come as a defense of Pakistan's effort despite their heavy losses in the series so far.
