EPFO to Host PM-VBRY Employment Programme in Indore on June 19

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in Indore will host a regional event under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) on June 19 at 4 pm at Shri Aurobindo University campus. The programme will feature a live telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address from Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi as part of a nationwide employment festival.

Over 200 EPFO offices across the country will participate in the event. The PM-VBRY scheme aims to generate over 3.5 crore jobs with an outlay of Rs 99,446 crore over two years, and has already created more than 15 lakh jobs. Eligible first-time employees earning up to Rs 1 lakh monthly receive incentives equivalent to one month's salary, capped at Rs 15,000, in two instalments. Employers can receive up to Rs 3,000 per employee per month for two years.
