Ex-CJP Spokesperson Vijeta Dahiya Mocks Detained Party Leaders Over Jantar Mantar Protest

Former Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Vijeta Dahiya shared a video in which he sarcastically listed the names of party members and YouTuber Dhruv Rathee who were detained by Delhi Police ahead of a planned protest at Jantar Mantar on October 10. The detainees included party founder Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das, and Ashutosh Ranka.

In the viral clip recorded inside his car, Dahiya listed each name followed by the word "detained" before saying his own name and declaring "Bahar!" (outside/free), then laughed. The remark contrasted the detention of prominent protest organisers with his own freedom, drawing mixed reactions on social media.

Dahiya was removed from his position as CJP spokesperson in July 2026 following a controversy over his conduct during an earlier protest. Reports at the time suggested videos showed him staying away from the Sansad Chalo march during police action against protesters.
