FSSAI intensifies food adulteration raids during festive season

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has ramped up inspections and raids to crack down on food adulteration during the festive period. In Delhi, authorities destroyed over 4,100kg of khoya and paneer found to be substandard or adulterated.
In a separate action in Mewat region, around 10,000kg of adulterated paneer was seized within the past month. The intensified enforcement drive aims to protect consumers from unsafe food products during peak festive shopping season.
