Gadkari approves Rs 993 crore for NH-10 upgrade in Sikkim

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has approved Rs 993.64 crore for the NH-10 development project in Sikkim. The project will upgrade the Rangpo to Ranipool section into a two-lane highway, featuring construction of tunnels, viaducts, and enhanced safety measures in vulnerable areas.
The infrastructure upgrade is expected to significantly improve connectivity for both tourism and goods movement across the state. The project also carries strategic importance for defense personnel and military supply lines in the region.
The development is part of broader efforts to enhance road infrastructure in the northeastern state and strengthen transport links in the region.
