Gadkari calls for global code of conduct in infrastructure sector

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari emphasised the role of infrastructure development in establishing India as a leading global economy. He called for an international code of conduct to standardise practices and integrate emerging technologies and ideas across the sector.

Gadkari promoted the use of alternative materials, including municipal waste, in construction projects to boost sustainability. He proposed creating a 'Bank of Ideas' website to facilitate global research collaboration and knowledge sharing in infrastructure development.
