Gambhir Critical Of Guwahati Track After High-Scoring ODI
Gautam Gambhir has expressed concern over the Guwahati cricket pitch following an ODI where five centuries were scored and over 800 runs were accumulated. Gambhir remarked that while such high-scoring matches may entertain spectators, they create an uneven contest that relegates bowlers to the sidelines.
The former India opener's criticism highlights the ongoing debate over pitch quality and fairness in cricket. Gambhir's comments suggest the Guwahati track heavily favored batting, raising questions about ground conditions and their impact on competitive balance.
