Gill, Prabhsimran return to Punjab squad for Ranji Trophy clash against Chhattisgarh

Shubman Gill and Prabhsimran Singh have been included in Punjab's squad for their upcoming Ranji Trophy encounter against Chhattisgarh. The return of both players is expected to strengthen Punjab's bid to notch up their first victory in the tournament.

Gill, who recently scored the fastest double century in ODI history, will be making his return to domestic cricket after his ODI heroics. Despite his recent form in the limited-overs format, the batter faces a fresh challenge in adapting to the red-ball format during the Ranji Trophy.

The inclusion of these key players indicates Punjab's intent to put up a competitive performance against Chhattisgarh in what is a crucial fixture for the team's campaign in the tournament.
