Next-generation offshore patrol vessel launched at GRSE Kolkata

Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) in Kolkata has launched the next-generation offshore patrol vessel Shreyas, designated as Yard 3040. The vessel represents an advancement in India's naval capabilities and indigenous shipbuilding.

The offshore patrol vessel is designed to strengthen coastal security and maritime surveillance operations. Built at GRSE, one of India's premier shipyards, the vessel reflects the government's focus on indigenisation and self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
