Gunmen kill 4 Kuki-Zo civilians in Manipur, child wounded

Gunmen opened fire on Kuki-Zo civilians in two separate incidents across Manipur's Naga-dominated districts on Wednesday. Four people were killed in the attacks in Noney and Tamenglong districts.
In one of the incidents, a six-year-old boy sustained bullet wounds. A woman remains missing following the violence. The killings mark the latest in a series of communal clashes that have plagued the state since ethnic tensions escalated in 2023.
The incidents underscore the ongoing security challenges in the region, where Kuki-Zo and Naga communities have been engaged in armed conflict.
