Shardul Fagare's unbeaten 113 powered General Education Academy to an innings and seven-run victory over Parag English School in a Group B Harris Shield Elite Division match at Karnataka SG, Cross Maidan, on Friday. After winning the toss and electing to field, GEA restricted Parag English to 67 in their first innings, with left-arm medium pacer Shamsuddin Mansebdar taking 7 for 42. Fagare then anchored GEA's innings, scoring 113 off 122 balls before declaring. In Parag's second innings, Swaraj More claimed 5 for 43 and Sparsh Gholap took 3 for 14.
In other matches, Golu Pal of Dnyandeep produced a dominant left-arm spin display, claiming 11 wickets across both innings against Parle Tilak English Medium. Parle Tilak were bowled out for 35 in their first innings and 112 in the second at Worli Sports Club. Similarly, Nikhil Gurav of New English School, Bandra, bagged 11 wickets—four in the first innings and seven in the second—against Al Barkaat MMI English School at Elphinston Maidan, securing a 10-wicket victory.
Advit Tiwari of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar scored 105 off 162 balls and later claimed five wickets in a drawn match against Anjuman Allana CSMT at National, Cross Maidan.
