Haryana power employees defer strike by two months after government assurances

Haryana power employees have agreed to defer their strike for two months after receiving assurances from the state government. The deferment comes as a result of negotiations between employee unions and government officials, who have committed to addressing pending demands.
The power sector employees had threatened to go on strike over various grievances. The two-month extension provides the government with additional time to implement promised measures and resolve outstanding issues.
