Hindutva influencer Swatantra Bhardwaj granted regular bail in Jantar Mantar assault case

Swatantra Bhardwaj, a Hindutva influencer, has been granted regular bail in connection with an alleged assault case linked to a Jantar Mantar protest in July. Bhardwaj was arrested on 5 September following allegations that he assaulted the father of a Dalit student-activist during the demonstration. He had previously been given interim bail last month.

The case centres on an incident at the Jantar Mantar protest site involving a confrontation between Bhardwaj and the family member of the activist.
