History of India's Student Movements: From 1931 to Formation of AISF

Over 700 student activists from across India gathered at an All-India Conference held in Karachi on March 26, 1931, with the goal of establishing an All-India Students Federation. The primary objective of the movement was to mobilise young people against British imperialism.
Following the initial conference in Karachi, the All-India Students' Federation (AISF) was formally established at its first official conference held in Lucknow on August 12, 1936. This marked a significant milestone in the organised student movement in India during the independence struggle.
