'I Lost My Son and Father in 20 Days': Ketan Agrawal's Father Appeals to President Murmu for Fast-Track Trial

In an emotional appeal seeking swift justice for his murdered son, Ketan Agrawal's father has written to President Droupadi Murmu, urging that the case be transferred to a fast-track court. Saying his family has been devastated by back-to-back personal tragedies, he pleaded for a timely trial so that justice is not delayed.
In an email addressed to the President's Secretariat, Vishal Agrawal said he was writing not as a businessman but as a father who had lost his son. He stressed that the family was not seeking preferential treatment, only a fair and speedy judicial process.
"I am approaching you not as a businessman or an influential person, but simply as a grieving father. We are not seeking any privilege, only justice within a reasonable time. Delays in the legal process only increase the pain of families who have already suffered an irreparable loss," he wrote.
Vishal Agrawal also revealed that the tragedy was followed by another heartbreaking loss. He said his father passed away just 20 days after Ketan's murder, unable to recover from the emotional shock.
"My father was deeply attached to Ketan. The shock of losing his grandson proved too much for him. In just 20 days, I lost my son and my father. Our family has been left completely shattered," the letter stated.
Concluding his appeal, he urged the country's highest constitutional authority to ensure that the case does not get caught in prolonged legal proceedings.
"I only hope my son's case is not reduced to just another file in a government office. Behind this case is a family that has lost everything," he wrote.
