India may finalise MRFA deal by current financial year: IAF chief

The Indian Air Force chief has indicated that India may finalize the Multi-Role Fighter Aircraft (MRFA) procurement deal by the end of the current financial year. The acquisition is part of India's efforts to strengthen its air combat capabilities and modernize its fighter fleet. The MRFA tender, which seeks to acquire approximately 110 fighter jets, has been among the military's priority projects.
