IIT Madras, IITM Global Sign Deals Worth Nearly $100 Million at Bharat Innovates 2026

IIT Madras and IITM Global signed seven commercial and two institutional memoranda of understanding at Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice, France, expected to generate nearly $100 million in value creation. The commercial MOUs link Indian deep-tech startups with international partners, primarily from France, while institutional agreements aim to accelerate global market access, investment, and innovation.

The collaborations include a strategic partnership between IITM Global and Agna Capital to establish the Bharat Innovates Fund for high-potential deep-tech ventures. Another partnership with SouthwestX will enable Indian startups to scale across German and French markets. IIT Madras Director Prof. V. Kamakoti highlighted that the MOUs are commercial and actionable, backed by serious financial commitments, demonstrating Indian innovation's readiness for the global stage.
