Decolonising knowledge means reclaiming India's narrative, not erasing history: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized the importance of decolonizing India's history and knowledge in an authentic manner. He stated that true knowledge should remain free from ideological constraints and that the focus should be on reclaiming India's narrative rather than erasing history.
Shah highlighted the need to preserve India's knowledge traditions and manuscripts as part of this effort. He proposed creating a wider network for sharing heritage collections across the country to ensure broader access to India's intellectual legacy.
The minister urged leveraging Indology for the welfare of both the nation and the world.
