INDIA bloc awaits President's nod on ECI delegation over electoral concerns

The INDIA bloc opposition coalition is still waiting for the President's approval to meet and present concerns about the Election Commission of India. The coalition has agreed to reduce its proposed delegation size from 15 members to 10 members for the meeting.
CPI(M) MP John Brittas has received a response to his petition regarding the SIR (Systematic Information Retrieval) controversy related to the ECI. The opposition has been seeking an audience with the President to formally raise electoral management and governance issues.
