Security tightened at EC headquarters as INDIA bloc plans march against SIR

The INDIA opposition bloc has announced a planned march to the Election Commission headquarters on Tuesday, with opposition MPs set to participate. Leaders from the alliance will also meet President Droupadi Murmu to lodge concerns regarding the SIR (Special Investigative Report) exercise.

Security has been heightened around the EC office in anticipation of the demonstration. The march represents the opposition's coordinated response to what it views as problematic conduct related to the electoral process.

The planned delegation aims to directly communicate the alliance's grievances to both the Election Commission and the President's office.
