Priyanka Gandhi Briefly Detained During INDIA Bloc March to Election Commission

New Delhi: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was briefly detained by Delhi Police on Tuesday as security personnel halted an INDIA bloc march towards the Election Commission office. She was taken into a police van along with other protesters and later released.
The opposition march, which began from Parliament House, was aimed at the EC headquarters where INDIA bloc leaders demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Videos from the scene showed Priyanka Gandhi and other opposition MPs, including Rahul Gandhi, being held during the protest.
The detention occurred as part of heightened political tensions between the opposition and electoral authorities, with the INDIA bloc staging a dharna on Parliament Street during the incident.
