India responds sharply to Pakistan's UN remarks on Jammu and Kashmir

India has responded firmly to Pakistan's remarks about Jammu and Kashmir at the United Nations, asserting that the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh remain integral and inalienable parts of India. The statement came after Pakistan made critical comments regarding governance in the region.
India's response underscores its consistent position on the constitutional status of both territories and rejects any international scrutiny on the matter. The country has maintained that J&K and Ladakh are sovereign Indian territories and that matters pertaining to their governance are internal affairs.
The exchange marks continued diplomatic tensions between the two nations over the Kashmir issue, with India firmly defending its stance on the territorial integrity and administrative status of both regions at the international forum.
