INDIA bloc MPs' bus stalled at Janpath during protest march attempt

Three buses carrying INDIA bloc MPs were stopped by Delhi Police at the intersection of Janpath and Ashoka Road as authorities moved to prevent the opposition lawmakers from reaching Jantar Mantar for a planned protest. The incident brought traffic to a standstill in the area.

The MPs, after a lunch meeting, attempted to proceed to the landmark protest venue but were intercepted by police. The blockade disrupted movement along the busy Janpath corridor in central Delhi.
