India Women's Team Refuses Trophy From ACC President Naqvi at Asia Cup Final

India's Women's Cricket Team refused to accept the Women's Asia Cup 2026 trophy from ACC President and Pakistan Minister Mohsin Naqvi during the final in Dubai on Sunday. Naqvi had arrived at Dubai International Stadium to present the trophy to the winning team.
The Pakistani official left the stadium after the incident, with crowd members chanting "Trophy Chor, Trophy Chor" (trophy thief) as he departed. Naqvi was present during the post-match presentation ceremony but exited after presenting medals to runner-up Sri Lanka.
The trophy presentation concluded after medal distribution, with India refusing to collect the trophy from the ACC President.
