India rejects OIC remarks on Kashmir as unwarranted

India responded sharply to remarks made by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) regarding Jammu and Kashmir, describing them as unwarranted and factually incorrect.

The Indian government's rebuke came after the OIC raised the Kashmir issue, which New Delhi views as an internal matter. Officials suggested the OIC focus on its own affairs, notably directing it to counsel Pakistan on relevant matters.
