BJP leader says India transformed from 'junk economy' to 'BRICS shining star' under Modi

A BJP leader has claimed India has transformed from a struggling economy to a leading voice within BRICS under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. The leader highlighted India's improved economic standing and global influence since 2014.

The remarks come as India holds the rotating presidency of the BRICS grouping, which includes Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. The leader attributed India's economic recovery and enhanced international stature to policies pursued by the Modi government.
