Senior Indian official visits Islamabad for SCO planning meet after India-Pakistan UN exchange

A senior Indian official visited Islamabad to participate in Shanghai Cooperation Organisation planning meetings, the visit coming shortly after India and Pakistan engaged in a heated exchange at the United Nations.
The trip underscores the dual nature of India-Pakistan relations, where diplomatic tensions coexist with multilateral engagement through regional organisations. The SCO, of which both nations are members, continues to serve as a forum for dialogue despite bilateral friction.
The visit reflects the continuation of institutional commitments within the SCO framework even as bilateral relations remain strained.
