Internet suspension ordered near protest site as CJP leaders intensify Emergency accusations

The Ministry of Home Affairs has approved a temporary suspension of internet services in response to ongoing protests. The blackout will affect a 4-kilometre radius around the Janpath–Kartavya Path crossing, effective from 10 p.m. on October 9 through 10 p.m. on October 10.
Leaders of the CJP (Civil justice Platform/similar civic body) have accused the government of imposing emergency-like conditions. One prominent protest figure, Dipke, declared willingness to face detention, stating the movement must continue regardless of personal consequences.
The internet suspension represents an escalation in official response to the ongoing agitation at the central Delhi location.
