Wasim Jaffer questions Yashasvi Jaiswal's wicket-keeping role, urges focus on batting

Wasim Jaffer has cautioned against Yashasvi Jaiswal taking on wicket-keeping responsibilities in Test cricket, saying the role demands significant expertise and experience.
Jaffer pointed out that wicket-keeping in the longest format is an arduous task that requires a solid foundation in the specialized skills involved. He suggested that Jaiswal, primarily known as a batter, would face considerable difficulty adapting to the demands of the position without proper groundwork.
The former India opener emphasized that Jaiswal should prioritize developing his batting skills further rather than dividing his focus between batting and wicket-keeping duties.
