Ashwin picks Sachin over Kohli, says Virat must overcome tougher challenges to match Tendulkar

Ravichandran Ashwin has entered the debate over batting excellence between Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. Ashwin argues that Tendulkar's stature is elevated by the significant challenges he faced during his playing era. While acknowledging Kohli's remarkable consistency and achievements, Ashwin highlights the difficulty in comparing legends from different periods.

According to Ashwin, Tendulkar's accomplishments carry added weight due to the conditions and competition of his time. He suggests that for Kohli to reach the same pedestal as Tendulkar, he would need to overcome similarly difficult circumstances.
