Protesters at Jantar Mantar demand overhaul of reservation system

Protesters gathered at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Friday morning to demand an overhaul of the reservation system. Many were mobilised by organisations representing people from general castes, including Karni Sena and Ranbir Sena.

The demonstration took place despite the Delhi Police having stated publicly that no permission had been granted for a protest at the venue.
