Only those who elected us can dissolve us: J&K Deputy CM on BJP's dismissal demand

Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary has firmly rejected the BJP's calls for dismissing the National Conference-led government, asserting that only the electorate can dissolve an elected administration.
Choudhary criticised the BJP for pursuing what he termed anti-democratic manoeuvres and said the party has neither constructively engaged in the assembly nor offered viable solutions to address public issues. He highlighted the government's focus on restoring statehood as essential to tackling grievances effectively.
The remarks come as political tensions persist between the NC-led coalition and the opposition BJP in the Union Territory.
