J&K government dismisses Power Department inspector over terror links

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has dismissed Mohammad Shafi Malik, an inspector with the Power Development Department, citing alleged links to terror organisations. Malik faces charges including murder and attempt to murder.

The dismissal marks the ninth government employee terminated this year on similar grounds. The action is part of an ongoing effort by the administration to root out suspected terror infrastructure within state government institutions.
