J&K parties unite against abusive IAS officer; CM Omar seeks accountability

Political parties across Jammu and Kashmir have united in condemning the conduct of an IAS officer, prompting Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to seek accountability from the administration.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has asked the chief secretary to ensure that appropriate action is taken against the officer. The rare cross-party consensus reflects widespread concern over the officer's behaviour.
The IAS officer in question was previously suspended in a CBI investigation related to arms-licence matters. He has not issued any public response to the current allegations or the political backlash.
