Dinesh Karthik backs Joe Root to break Sachin Tendulkar's Test record but believes Virat Kohli is far behind

Former Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik has backed England's Joe Root to break Sachin Tendulkar's record for most Test centuries. Karthik expressed confidence in Root's ability to surpass the Indian cricket legend's tally.

However, Karthik believes Virat Kohli is considerably behind in the race to match Tendulkar's historic milestone. The assessment comes as both players continue their international careers with varying form and fitness levels.
