Karnataka Lokayukta Raids Unearth Rs 29.62 Cr Assets of 8 Government Officials

The Karnataka Lokayukta conducted raids on eight government officials across multiple districts, uncovering assets valued at Rs 29.62 crore. The cases have been registered at Lokayukta police stations in Bengaluru City, Chikkaballapur, Kalaburagi, Bengaluru South district, Mandya, Kodagu, Dharwad and Bidar.

These operations are part of ongoing anti-corruption efforts to investigate cases of disproportionate wealth accumulation by public servants. The raids targeted officials whose assets were found to exceed their known sources of income.
